Michael B. Skinner, Michigan Appellate Attorney

Mr. Skinner earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan and went on to a stellar career at Wayne State University Law School. While working full-time as a law clerk, Mr. Skinner attended Wayne State at night and graduated magna cum laude. While at Wayne State, he earned numerous honors and served as a Senior Articles Editor on the Wayne Law Review. Mr. Skinner founded his firm after serving as an associate attorney at a prominent and well-respected Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, law firm. Before he became an attorney, he spent five years as a law clerk in appellate practice at a downtown Detroit law firm, gaining the experience that allowed him to devote his work to appeals and to jump ahead of his peers when he became an attorney. Mr. Skinner has been identified as "an expert in Michigan appellate law" by the Detroit Free Press. He has experienced great success helping clients with both criminal appeals and civl appeals, including divorce appeals.

Mr. Skinner is admitted to the United States Supreme Court and the state and federal bars of Michigan.
